DAY 1 - 18 DECEMBER
ARRIVAL IN ALGIERS

Arrive in Algiers and meet the local team at the airport.

Transfer to the hotel, settle in and rest after your international journey.

DAY 2 - 19 DECEMBER
ALGIERS: CITY BETWEEN HILLS AND SEA

A guided day through Algiers, exploring its streets, architecture, viewpoints and Mediterranean rhythm.

In the evening, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Djanet.

Arrival in Djanet after midnight, followed by hotel transfer.

DAY 3 - 20 DECEMBER
INTO TASSILI N’AJJER

After breakfast, we leave Djanet by 4x4 and enter the Tassili n’Ajjer desert region.

The first day is about transition: learning the rhythm of the land, moving slowly into the open spaces and settling into camp before sunset.

Dinner is prepared by our local desert cook.

DAY 4 - 21 DECEMBER
DESERT STORIES

A full day exploring the sandstone landscapes of Tassili n’Ajjer.

Expect dunes, dry valleys, rock formations, quiet viewpoints and time to simply sit with the place.

The route remains flexible according to weather, access, permits and the local team’s guidance.

DAY 5 - 22 DECEMBER
FINAL DESERT MORNING & RETURN TO DJANET

Wake up for a final morning in camp.

After breakfast, we continue through the landscape before returning to Djanet.

Check into the hotel, shower, rest and prepare for the return journey north.

DAY 6 - 23 DECEMBER
RETURN TO ALGIERS

Early-morning transfer to Djanet Airport.

Fly back to Algiers and transfer to the hotel.

The afternoon is free for rest, a final walk in the city or personal time before international departure.

DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Algiers International Airport for your international departure.

This expedition is fully curated and supported from arrival to departure.

-Days are usually dry and comfortable for desert movement, while temperatures drop quickly after sunset.

-Bring warm layers, a proper sleeping bag, wool socks, gloves, a beanie and a headlamp.

Does the trip include international flights from Kuwait to Algeria?

❌ No, international airfare is not included.

✈️ Each participant books their own flights — we’re happy to help you choose the right ones!

How Does the visa process work?

AlMaknoon and our local partner provide visa assistance and support with the boarding-authorisation process.

The process begins once you submit a complete passport copy and required documents. Boarding authorisation is usually issued within around four weeks from the date the completed file is submitted.

Visa approval and final entry remain under the authority of Algerian immigration authorities.
